Katie Khuc, LPC Intern

Katie Khuc, LPCI, is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where she earned the Masters of Arts degree, Honors, in Christian Counseling. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Christianity, Summa Cum Laude from Houston Baptist University. She is fluent in Vietnamese. Currently, Mrs. Khuc is an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at North Central Texas College. In addition, she works as a counselor both for the Center for Change, Discovery and Support in Fort Worth, Texas and locally in Lewisville, Texas through the Private Counseling Practice of Monique Thompson LPC. She has a broad range of experience including work with marital problems, sexual trauma and depression.
As an intern, her services are supervised by Monique Thompson LPC, LPC-S.
Cindy M. McCartney, LPC Intern

Cindy McCartney, LPCI, is a 2007 graduate of the University of North Texas where she earned the Masters of Education degree in Counseling Education with a Concentration in Play Therapy. Her undergraduate work was completed at the State University of New York at Brockport in Brockport, NY in 2003 where she received the Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology with a Minor in Biology. She is a member of Chi Sigma Iota, Honors Counseling Fraternity and a past recipient of the Sigma Xi Award for Research in Psychology (May 2003). She currently works full time at the Children’s Advocacy Center in Lewisville TX as a clinical Intern where she provides individual therapy and play therapy for children and adolescents who are victims of sexual assault and facilitates group therapy and consults with parents on the therapy process.
As an intern, her services are supervised by both a LPC Supervisor, Rebecca Torress, LPC and a site supervisor, Monique Thompson LPC, LPC-S.
Kimberly Brady, LPC Intern

Kimberly Brady, LPCI, is a graduate of Fort Hays State University where she earned the Masters of Science degree in Clinical Psychology and the Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She also studied abroad during her academic training. She currently works full time at Dallas County Community Supervision and Corrections Department as a clinical assessment specialist under the supervision of Dr. Vic Rosenblatt. Most recent to coming aboard here, she provided counseling for Galaxy Counseling Center in Garland, Texas. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Texas Association of Masters in Psychology.
Ms. Brady is both a Licensed Psychological Associate and Licensed Professional Counselor Intern. As an intern, her services are supervised by both her LPC Supervisor and site supervisor, Monique Thompson LPC, LPC-S.
