I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and licensed professional counselor supervisor (LPC-S) practicing in the Dallas Metroplex. Counseling services through my practice include individual, family counseling and counseling for couples.
My credentials include a Masters degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Texas Southern University. The LPC (license in professional counseling) allows me to provide private therapy in the state of Texas. I am a former member of the Association of Black Psychologists and am a current member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
About 60% of my practice involves work with adult survivors of sexual trauma, addictions (drugs, alcohol, sex) and couples recovering from affairs. The practice also offers traditional general mental health counseling for depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder, particulary post-hospitalization or adults who are noticing symptoms for the first time. Other services include pre-surgery psych evals and group therapy.
